The illuminated Leonardo David track in Gressoney-Saint-Jean will become a competition area to award the title of SkySnow “classic” Italian Championship. The race will also be part of the SkySnow Italian Cup circuit. The event is affiliated with FISKY (Italian SKYrunning Federation) and will take place on a snow-covered ring route of about 9.5 km with 800 meters of positive altitude difference in which the competitors will run wearing special micro-crampons. The route retraces the ski slopes of the Monterosa Spa area called “Weissmatten”. Competitors will climb the illuminated slopes of the Leonardo David slope and, once they reach the 2022 meters of altitude of Casa Capriata where a refreshment point will be set up,   will descend on the blue slope that will take them to the finish line. The "Sport Haus" will be used as a venue for the bib collection, for the shower, for the dinner and for the awards ceremony.
